What is good practice of note taking?
- Write down key points/interesting points (do not try to write everything → waste time)
- Write down your own ideas (something you agree/disagree or something you do not understand)
- Allows for doing research after class
- Use your own method to take notes, e.g. drawing, images, diagrams (good for brainstorm)
- Audio recording (allows for review after class)
- Post on PDP to keep all things organise
- share with others out of the classroom
- Tags on PDP (clear, easy to find and organised)
Why?
- can go back for review
- digital record can avoid loss of information
